Leica M-Com mobile communication solution

The Leica M-Com series is the first compact plug and play solution for monitoring communication. The M-Com series offers easy installation, reliable communication, and the connection of multiple sensors and external devices. This increases the mobility for periodic or short-term monitoring systems.

Leica ComGate20

The Leica ComGate20 is part of the M-Com series, plug and play solutions for monitoring communication. Equipped with vast variety of connectivity options such as mobile, WLAN and ethernet connections (WAN/LAN), the ComGate20 offers flexible solutions which allows dense point clouds, high quality images and even video streams to be transmitted at the highest speed.

Created in collaboration with NetModule AG, the Leica ComGate20 comes with the added value of a Leica OEM router software. This guarantees seamless and future-proof integration with Leica GeoMoS monitoring solutions. The software also includes a powerful functionality which allows it to recover from any communication failure by automatically switching to the secondary communication line.

An abundance of sensor connection interfaces, like USB 2.0, multiple serial ports (RS232 and RS485) and digital I/Os provide a direct connection to all Leica Geosystems’ monitoring total stations, GNSS receivers, TP meteo sensors and Leica Nivel inclination sensors, as well as 3^rd party geotechnical and environmental sensors. Over the integrated power switch (relay), the Leica ComGate20 supports a cold boot of any connected sensor.

The Leica ComGate20 is fully integrated and an essential part of the Leica GeoMoS monitoring solution.
